Hello! I go by many names online, but you can call me Metallic. I am a woman in my 20s with way too many hobbies.
Some of my main hobbies are: video editing, coding, gaming, reading and cooking.
I am a film/documentary editor by day, and my night I am someone who has too many interests to give myself a definition. I tend to ramble a lot, but I will try to edit it out as much as I can~
My main interest in life is film editing. I love editing to my core and it is the one hobby that has stayed front and center through my life ever since I was 13/14, I'm very happy I got to be able to do it as a job as well. Editing is like my anchor, whenever I feel lost I know I at least have
I love dark, dystopian and sci-fi media a lot at the moment and I tend to not like modern comedy films.
My longest running interests in media are: Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Mass Effect, the band Matchbox Twenty, and strangely enough, the Twilight films.
I sometimes can have very varying tastes in media and I am often open to try
watching/playing/reading anything, so long as it doesn't sound like a waste of my time (looking you
Teen Titans Go), so some of my favorites lists might feel a bit like whiplash going from dark/horror
to just really happy chill stuff. I don't like to pidgen-hole myself into one genre/theme or trope.
I just like good stories and compelling concepts, I don't care what genre they are!
I also often go through phases of time where I get super into post-apocalyptic media. Especially
zombies. I am someone who will probably never get sick of a good zombie story. (I still need to
watch The Walking Dead TV series, but I know I will love it when I do)
When I was younger I used to be a seasonal anime watcher! I know pretty much every anime that came out from 2014 until the end of 2016 (not including ecchi anime bc- y'know...). I gave up on that though as it was burning me out. I now don't watch any anime really. However, in Febuary 2024 I started watching One Piece (I'm about 800 eps in now and try to watch 3 eps a night when I can).

This site is a place for me to learn code with HTML, get away from fandom social media and its horrors, and to share my love of different things! I have a lot of passion for many different things. That's another reson I created this site for me to get it all out and put my passion out into the world.
I love websites like Neopets where, no matter where you click, you're bound to find someting new and interesting. I love websites that can take you down rabbit holes, and that's my goal for this one. Right now it's quite bare bones, but I hope to make all sorts of interesting and secret pages as time goes on and as I learn new things with HTML!
I really just made this website for me, but I hope someone else can enjoy it and find some cool/useful/informational things within it as well!
The constant need and call to be outraged about a million different things every day on social media
has tired me out. I hope to make this page a bit of an escape from that. And I hope that any
opinions I may post on this website will be nuanced, thought out and not call you to automatically
agree with me.
I don't intend to post many controversial things on this site, but if I do and you feel I could have worded something better or maybe you feel I am misinformed on a topic I talk about and you would like to correct me, please don't be afraid to email me. Also please note that I am a terrible coder and you probably shouldn't use any of it as an explanation for how to make your own sites as it's quite spagetti-like. Even now that I have finished coding the first few pages of my site, I have realized I have made a lot of mistakes and things that I could have optimized much better.
